WeldWerks is one of the best places in Greeley to stop for a beer. It’s 100% local, started by Greeley resident from his garage, and still produced today in downtown Greeley.
The Story of WeldWerks Brewing Co
The successful Greeley brewery grew from the homebrewing hobby of co-founder and head brewer Neil Fisher. He started getting together with friends in his garage to brew every month and after five years of honing his skills at home, Neil took his brewing skills to the 2014 Big Beers, Belgians, and Barleywines Festival. He won two medals and Colin Jones agreed to start a brewery with him. Colin became co-founder and CEO of WeldWerks.
Today, Weldwerks brews over 300 unique beers from its downtown Greeley brewhouse. The company is known for experimenting and innovating with all kinds of styles of beer, hoping to appeal to a wide range of palates. The main location is in Greeley, where WeldWerks started, but the company is developing a satellite location in Colorado Springs as well.

The Taproom and Brewery
Stop by the WeldWerks Brewing Co. Taproom every day from noon to 9pm; on Sunday’s it closes at 7pm. The taproom is open daily for on-site consumption, with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The brewery also brings in local food trucks regularly, so you can grab a bite to eat as you enjoy your beer. WeldWerks releases a new beer every Friday at noon, so regular customers as well as tourists can expect a lively atmosphere on Friday afternoons!
Because WeldWerks has so many beers, the menu rotates frequently. You can check what’s currently on tap by viewing the draft beer menu on Untappd. The brewery also accommodates to-go orders and has an interactive “Find the Beer” map on its website, so you can enjoy WeldWerks beer in Greeley without actually visiting the taproom (but the taproom has a great atmosphere, so you shouldn’t miss it!).
